What does the Jimmy HW10 come with?

Our advice Once you’ve finished charging, you may need to unplug the power plug, as the screen always stays on. This is probably a bug that will be corrected by a software update, but to avoid unnecessary consumption of electricity, it’s a good idea to keep this detail under control.

The bin for receiving dirt and dirty water seems unimportant and suggests that it should be emptied at the end of each cleaning session. But in our opinion, this is a false debate, because who ever thought of emptying their bucket of dirty mops at the end of a cleaning session… It wouldn’t occur to them to leave it full until the next time. The same applies to the Jimmy HW10.

The opening system for emptying is one of the simplest on the market: simply press a button to empty.

Pay attention to the unit’s weight. If you’ve ever handled cordless cyclonic vacuums, they’re often distinguished by their very light weight. But this is a household appliance that also has a cleaning function. The machinery on board inevitably increases the overall weight of this appliance. If you don’t intend to use the cleaning function just once, you’d be better off choosing a standard cordless cyclonic vacuum cleaner, which will be lighter.

Suction Power and Washing Efficiency

To operate the Jimmy HW10It’s equipped with a powerful 400w motor, which really sets it apart from its counterparts.

Whether used in its “full” configuration or in the “compact” version with accessories, the Jimmy HW10 can clean virtually any surface without any problem, and also handles pet hair very well. When used for cleaning on the move, it features four modes:

• AUTO: which uses the sensors built into the main brush and “understands” not only how much dirt is on the surface, but also what type it is. In this way, the same JIMMY HW10 to decide on the suction power and quantity of water to be used.
• FLOOR: this is the mode for any type of floor, as long as it’s not a carpet or rug. If you’re careful, it’s a good way to get a good clean and save considerable energy.
• TURBO: excellent if the floor you want to clean is particularly dirty, but very energetic (so be careful with very fragile surfaces).
• CARPET: this is a specific mode designed for cleaning carpets, which is best exploited by using the special roller that comes out of the packaging.

When used in “portable” mode, i.e. using the accessories supplied in the packaging, there are two modes of use:

• ECO: the standard mode for cleaning “traditional” surfaces.
• MAX: the more powerful mode, for surfaces such as sofas, car seats, mattresses… But it also consumes a lot of energy, reducing the time the machine can be used and the battery capacity.

Handling is also very pleasant, thanks to the motorized brush’s great adhesion to the floor, the whole system will be almost “pulled” along during cleaning, reducing effort to a minimum.

But the big difference with the Jimmy HW10 is that, unlike other floor cleaners, this one doesn’t wet the entire rollers. It only sprays water where it’s needed. So you decide where you want to wet (handy for fragile areas that shouldn’t be wet). It also saves you water and product.
